Good Day from an Old time St. Johnian

Good day,

My name is Bill E Whitegoat.
I know most of you in St Jan do not know me but I know most of you. I watch you all coming and going and gone to come back ones too.
I live on Lind Point where I been for many, many years. I been all alone for the past 15 years after the Park Rangers came an took all me women and kids away. Oh sure dem Rangers keep trying to catch me but I too smart for dem guys. They come out here on Lind Point with all their noisy gear on or lots of after shave. Mon I can hear or smell dem for miles away. Its easy Mon, all I do is hide in one of my special caves an dem Rangers never know where I at. One of dem Rangers even came so close to me hide out I could have knocked him on his butt but then they would know where I was so I left the Ranger alone that day.
Why are dem Rangers always wanting to harass me ? I don't bother them none at all. Dey already take me women and kids what else do dey want ? Maybe if I go see that Mark Hardwood, the Park Superintendent maybe he can get dem Rangers to leave me alone?
You know you people would never believe what I see and what I seen. I seen St Jan go from a nice quiet Island to a concrete jungle, just look around and you'll see for yourself. Traffic getting worse, lots of big trucks roaring around, people disssing each other. Let me tell Mon that years ago it was not so on St Jan. Then you could leave your house unlocked, offer greetings to your neighbors, share fresh fruit with neighbors and most of all help each other out. Now a days none of that stuff happens, dey all too busy, everyone wants a big and bigger house.
Well why the heck did you move here ? Or why do you stay here ?
St Jan was not about the biggest house or the fanciest car. It was living in peace with each other, only taking what you need. Enjoying the beauty of St Jan, growing our own fruits, vegetables, catching fish or lobster. Man let me tell you, life was good back then. No one harassed me back then either !
We can change though. We can all start greeting each other with a cheerful "Good morning" or a greeting of "good night"  we can ALL slow down just a bit, theres really no hurry.
One last question though. Does anyone have Mark Hardwoods phone number ? I know dem Rangers have much better tings to be doing than harassing dis old goat !
