Here To Grow Learning Center needs a new home and more enrollments. Due to the challenges of a recessed economy, we must downsize and cut our costs to remain open beyond this July. We are looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom home to turn in to our next facility. Here To Grow Learning Center is located right out of town, off of Centerline Road. We are on the bus line for Gifft Hill school and are a short walk from JESS. We currently offer: Daycare through Pre-school, Ages 8 months through 4 years. Tutoring and Holiday Care too! We will have after school programs if people need it. It will include arts and crafts, theatre arts and sign language. A First aid and CPR course may be available as well. We are open 8:30 am to 3:30 pm but would extend these hours if enough have need of it. We are typically open through July and are closed for August but that too can change if enough families need us. We are a group daycare home so the gentle ways of a home environment give our little ones security and lots of hugs and personal, down on the floor playtime. We are an educational/developmental program. This is the first time we are having trouble meeting our bills and we simply do not have the number of enrollments necessary to carry our current rent. If we are able to take on more students we may have financial backers who could supplement what they can/cannot afford. And the reverse as well, if we have financial backers we will be able to adjust our rates to be available for more children. Our current limit, based on square footage and number of bathrooms is 12 children. No more than 3 under the age of 2 years at a time. We are currently paying an unsustainable rent and are looking for a smaller place so we may adjust to the difficult financial times St John is currently experiencing. We also cannot be too far out of town or on a difficult road since we have so many cars coming and going for drop offs. The Fire dept, Health dept, DPNR and Human Services all have to approve of the space before we are licensed. If there is any assistance you can offer, if you know of a home to rent, children who may be in need of our expertise, etc, we would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thanks again!!
