Javon Jade 3rd Memorial Fun Day

Out of tragedy comes hope, at least for Deverell Alfred. As most locals know, her son was tragically killed by a driver distracted by his cell phone (this is directly why you get a fat fine today, if the police catch you talking on your cell phone while driving). This year, as with the prior two, Alfred is throwing a free party and cookout for the children of St. John because she feels it’s an appropriate way to celebrate her son’s life. She feels that families should take time out from their busy lives, slow down, and enjoy a day of fun with their children. There will be games, bouncy castles, and toy giveaways.
