One of the hands-down sweetest events on the island all year, Barefoot Minister Anne Marie Porter's annual Valentine's Day vow renewal ceremony is a chance to remind your partner how much you love and cherish them. And what better setting is there than the velvety sands of Trunk Bay beach at sunset? Now in its eighth year, this celebration of love has seen over 600 couples participate - don't miss your chance to add to their ranks!

On Your Mark!
Winter may be setting in, but here on St. John that just means we want to get outside all the more! And with the 14th annual 8 Tuff Miles road race just around the corner, there's no better time to be out in the sun - training, that is!
No matter what your exercise regimen is, don't worry about not having the chops to participate in the famed 8.38-mile race. Runners (and walkers) of all skill levels are welcome to join. But if you do plan on joining the cross-island trek, you should register ASAP! Race director Peter Alter says he expects the event to sell out within the first week of February.
As with every year, 8 Tuff Miles will award six $500 college scholarships to winners in three age groups. So, when you come out and race on the 27th you can feel good not only about running the length of a seriously hilly island but also about doing your part to support the future of our children.
