Halloween Special: Mask Trick Treaty

Longtime readers of the Sun Times know how much we like to make things out of old Sun Times issues...well, here we go again! We've created some masks that are super-easy and super-fast (15 minutes) to make. Anyone can do it! And because they attach with twine, they easily "push up" for conversation and it grips your hair nicely.
Needs: Paper, twine (or ribbon), clear packing tape, scissors
Optional: shells, sequins, glitter, feathers, sand, whatever makes you feel fabulous
Click on one of the images above and it will take you to a larger version of the mask template - all ready to print out, cut out, and decorate (with Sun Times back issues, for example). If you'd rather be gloriously of-the-moment, though, you can create a template of your own, by just pressing a sheet of paper to your face. See below!
Superghetto mask: press paper on your face-with your fingernails punch through paper at temples, center of eyes, and pinch at bottom of nose. With a pen, draw rough eyes, edges of mask at temples (this is where the twine will string through), lower half-circle for nose. Be creative with shapes above and below your eyes. On the other side of the paper, lay on an old Sun Times cover. Cover both sides of paper with clear packing tape. Use more tape at left/right edges for extra support. Cut out, string twine through at temples.
